Southside ISD Athletic Trainers Recognized

March 9, 2022 by rescamilla

Athletic trainers at Southside High School have seen everything from broken bones, torn ACL’s, scrapes, and concussions. Each year, they treat about 1,200 students. Southside’s athletic trainers are certified professionals who treat injured students from the field to the court. As part of National Athletic Trainers month, we’re recognizing Southside trainers Coach Erin Vincent and Coach Jaime Gonzalez. Coach Vincent has been with Southside ISD for the past eight years. Jaime Gonzalez is new to the District and recently graduated from the University of the Incarnate Word. We want to thank our trainers for the care they provide daily to our students from big games and tournaments to every day athletic injuries.
