On March 27th, the Southside HS Symphonic Band, under the direction of Mr. Gamez, competed at the UIL Concert and Sight Reading Competition at Southwest High School. The Symphonic Band earned a Division 1 rating in both rooms earning a “Sweepstakes” honor and award (highest achievement possible). This is an incredible achievement, congratulations to the Symphonic Band!

Southside High School Color Guard Takes 1st Place at Competition
On Saturday, March 19th, the Southside High School Colorguard traveled to Vista Ridge High School, competing in their fourth show in the Texas Color Guard Circuit. We are proud to report that once again, the guard took 1st place in their division.
