Requesting Information
Southside Independent School District complies with the Texas Public Information Act (TPIA) for information requests submitted by members of the public. Requests for information may be submitted using one of four methods:

Texas Government Code Section 552.0031(f) allows governmental bodies to designate days as non-business days when their administrative offices are closed or have minimal staff. The board of trustees of an independent school district designates non-business days, while the executive director or chief administrative officer of other governmental bodies does so. A governmental body can designate up to 10 non-business days per calendar year. The non-business days for the 2025 calendar year are March 10, 2025, March 11, 2025, March 12, 2025, March 13, 2025, March 14, 2025, November 24, 2025, November 25, 2025, November 26, 2026, December 22, 2025, and December 23, 2025.
