Interior/Exterior Door Policy 
All interior/exterior doors must remain locked at all times. Weekly door checks will be conducted by staff. Any failure to comply with the directive may result in adverse job action, up to and including the initiation of termination proceedings. Please know the following:

1. Weekly door checks must be conducted by campus and district staff. Documentation of the door checks will be filed at the Principal's office and at the district with the Safety/Security Coordinator, Mr. Deputy Chief Zaragoza.
2. A work order must be submitted for any door that does not lock. A temporary fix must be done at the door until it is fixed.
3. The maintenance director must inform the Principal how long the door will take to be fixed and offer a temporary solution for the door to lock.
4. Random checks will be done to certify that all doors are locked.
5. Failure to fix a door or for a door to remain unlocked, the Superintendent must be notified of the issue to address the concern.
