Southside High School Mariachis and Conjunto Join in Hispanic Heritage Month event

Southside High School students were treated to performances by the Mariachis Cardenales del Sur and also the Conjunto Cardenales. Both groups are under the direction of Mrs. Anna Bustamante and performed as part of the school’s Hispanic Heritage Month celebration. A student charro also demonstrated his talent with a lasso. Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrated nation wide during 16 de Septiembre festivities.
