District rivals featuring the Southside High School Cardinals go up against the Southwest High School Dragons at 7pm at Southwest Stadium at 1 Dragon Lane. This is a big game for both teams. Week 4 of the high school football season features a District 13-5A D1 showdown. The Southside Cardinals are the defending district champs. When the two met last year, the Cardinals beat the Dragons. Added to the drama, the Cardinals won big last week and blew away the Laredo Nixon Mustangs 55-3. Southwest, on the other hand, is undefeated so far this year.
