On Friday, May 3rd, the Southside ISD Education Foundation awarded ten scholarships to deserving Southside High students during the grand occasion of the SHS 13th Annual Senior Decision Day. This prestigious ceremony not only honors the remarkable journey of graduating seniors but also unveils their exciting post-secondary plans, revealing the colleges each student will attend. Additionally, we proudly acknowledge those students who have chosen to enlist in military service, paying tribute to their bravery and commitment.
The event was graced by representatives from over a dozen esteemed universities and colleges, alongside dignitaries from the armed forces. Drawing inspiration from the spirited tradition of athletic ‘signing day’ festivities, Senior Decision Day offers a heartfelt opportunity for loved ones to gather and celebrate the achievements of our outstanding Cardinal graduates.
