Jumbotron Students at the Pigskin Classic

The Alamodome was filled with thousands of fans to witness the 2023 Pigskin Classic Battle of 1604 Saturday, August 26th. The dome was electric and so were the Jumbotron Crew. The Crew is made up of students from Southside High School. They showed up to provide media coverage for the event. These student volunteers were extremely excited as they had full access to the football field. Some were on the sidelines filming the action while others were conducting interviews behind the scenes. This was an amazing opportunity for our students to get experience in the field at this magnitude. This same group of students were the camera crew for Southside’s graduation at the Alamodome that was broadcasted live on t.v. just a few months ago. Southside ISD is always looking for new opportunities for our students to gain experience. The goal for all of us here is to provide a safe and excellent education for ALL of our students.
