The sound of mariachis, folklorico dancers, and elementary school choirs filled the air at the 2022 End of Year Celebration held at Southside High School. The event attracted students and families from all eight of the district’s campuses. The district’s littlest learners participated in making artwork inside the high school gymnasium. Outside, on a stage provided by the City of San Antonio and District 3 Councilwoman Phyllis Viagran, students danced, sang, and made music. Inside, families enjoyed snacks along with plenty of water to drink on the hot evening. About 3,000 people came to the fun event celebrating a successful academic school year.
