Pearce Elementary highlights SISD Transportation Director Jesse Berlanga for his flexibility, leadership, and partnership with our schools. Mr. Berlanga can always be found driving a bus, riding a bus with his team, or helping a student in need. We appreciate his assistance to get all students who need a ride to and from school on a roster, his immediate response to work as a team during the pandemic, and his consistent commitment to getting staff and students from one point to another safely. Pearce 5th grade student, Kendra Gallegos, is a great big sister, student, and Junior FFA participant. She loves to read graphic novels, baking sweet treats with her aunt, and arts and crafts. Spending time with her pigs is one of her favorite things to do. We can always count on Kendra to be responsible, safe, and respectful. Thank you, Kendra, for growing with us at Pearce.
