Mrs. Lorena Soto is the cardinal spotlight for Matthey Middle School. Mrs. Soto is a bus driver on route #32 for the SISD transportation department. She ensures that all safety protocols are met on a daily basis and ensures that our students are transported safely to and from our campus. Mrs. Soto is an asset to our district and an exemplar of our core values, Service, Integrity, Accountability, and Loyalty
Caleb Smith is the Cardinal spotlight for the week. Caleb is an eighth-grader at Matthey middle school. He is an excellent student and a voracious reader. Caleb has earned over 1800 AR reading points during the month of October, and along with other students has propelled Matthey to first place in our district competition. Keep up the great work Cal
