Cardinal Spotlight – Week of June 5: Pearce Elementary School

Cardinal-Spotlight_WEEK-3-4

Norma Tejeda, Receptionist at Pearce Elementary, is the face of our campus. As the “first impression” she greets many with a smiling face, direct customer service, and enthusiasm to invite them onto the campus. She works collaboratively with all staff members, advocates for her Southside community, and supports all Pearce Families at events held during and after the instructional day. Norma can always be found lending a helping hand to anyone on our campus, sharing a cheerful conversation with a playful joke or two, and answering phones while doing a million other things at once. She is simply irreplaceable and is absolutely adored by all in her Pearce Family.

Nikko Garcia, a future 5th grade student at Pearce Elementary, shares his beautiful spirit and smile with our Southside community each and every day. He participates in FFA, our morning announcements, and peer mediator program. He and his family can always be found at our district and campus events. He has fantastic attendance, a remarkable work ethic, is an excellent classroom helper, and a dependable leader on our campus. Nikko is positive, caring, and kind. He is a role model in all that he does on and off the campus. Thank you, Nikko, for being you and making the world a better place. We appreciate you and all that you are.
