Southside ISD is encouraging parents to serve on the District Educational Improvement Committee; also known as the DEIC. Parents who serve on the DEIC advise the Board or its designee in establishing and reviewing the District Improvement plan, as well as the District’s educational goals, performance objectives, and major District-wide classroom instructional programs.
