Imaginary sea creatures, a computer game created by a 6th grader, and posters featuring black holes and capital punishment were displays featured at the 2019 Gifted and Talented Showcase. The event featured work by 150 Southside ISD students from both elementary and secondary levels. Students remained by their displays and talked about their projects. A large presence of parents and family members turned out at the Southside High School commons on Thursday, May 30, 2019. The District’s Curriculum and Instructional Department organized this successful event.
