2019 Innovation Grant Winners Selected & Surprised!

The Southside ISD Education Foundation (SEF) is proud to announce the 2019 Innovation Grant Winners for Southside Independent School District have been selected.

This is a historic year for the Foundation.  For the first time, SEF has selected 16 teachers and administrators for Innovation Grants. Grants range from $716 – nearly $4000 totaling approximately $17,260.00!

The Foundation spends the year raising money through its annual Golf Tournament, Casino Night and Basketball Tournament. SEF is also proud to be a part of the United Way Charitable Campaign (organization # 8063).  The Foundation raised enough money to fund $15,000 in scholarships to be given out to 2019 graduating seniors in May.

The Foundation Prize Patrol surprised several teachers this week with their awards, but there are still some winners that will be revealed LIVE at the SISD Annual Convocation on August 5, 2019, between 1 pm and 4 pm.  Don’t miss it! In the meantime, here are the winners that were surprised this week!
