The Texas Chef Association has named Southside High School Chef Instructor Angel Machado as the 2018 Educator of the Year. Machado most recently had 16 Southside High School culinary arts students involved in providing Thanksgiving meals to 350 needy families in San Antonio’s South Side. When they finished feeding families, Chef Machado and his students went to feed San Antonio’s homeless. Congratulations Chef Angel Machado.
