The following message is a very important message from Southside ISD.
The Texas Dept. of Transportation will be doing construction on Loop 1604 between US 281 and US Interstate 37 south of San Antonio. The work will start Friday, October 5 from 9 am to 5 pm daily for at least a week. They informed the district that we can expect long delays as portions of the road will be shut down to one lane during this construction phase. Please be advised that the shutdown may impact your travel to and from our campuses in the afternoons and will also have an impact on school district transportation. Buses may run late as a result of the construction.
