School begins Monday, August 27th. It’s going to be a great year at Southside ISD. It’s always exciting to begin a new school year. Our teachers are excited to teach their new students. Parents, here’s what you can do to lessen anxiety:
- make sure your children get to bed early.
- Leave the cooking to us. All Southside ISD children will receive free breakfast and free lunch this year.
- leave home early if you’re driving children to school.
- NEVER pass a bus with flashing red lights.
- drive the speed limit and slow down in school zones.
Southside ISD is receiving extra help for the start of this school year. Please slow down and watch your speed. These police agencies will be patrolling our school zones:
- Texas Department of Public Safety
- Bexar County Sheriff’s Department
- San Antonio Police Department
- Bexar County Constable
- Southside ISD Police Deparment
