Saturday, October 14, the 14th annual Artpace Chalk It Up festival featured two groups of Southside students. The event featured contemporary art that transformed downtown Houston Street into a gallery from the ground up. Losoya Intermediate was there with its 5th grade Art Honor Society and a team of students. They along with Matthey MS students created original work of art on an 8′ x 10′ spot on Houston Street.
