Sunday, March 24th a reception was held to honor the top 30 student artists for the Battle of Flowers Cover Art Contest.
Out of approximately 350 entries, 3 Southside High School students were ranked among the top 30: Freshman Annette Torres from Miss Macy Ramirez’s Art 1 Class, and Seniors Abigail Palacios and Andriana Perez from Mrs. Christina Robinson’s AP Art Class. Andriana Perez was also awarded Honorable Mention and a prize of $200 for ranking among the top 5 works of art.
