Cardinal Golf Teams Deliver Impressive 2025–2026 Season

April 2, 2026 by webmaster

The Southside High School Golf Team delivered an outstanding 2025–2026 season, marked by dedication, growth, and impressive achievements.

This year’s team demonstrated exceptional commitment. Despite many student-athletes balancing multiple sports and extracurricular activities, their dedication to the golf program never wavered. The season also welcomed several new members to both the boys’ and girls’ teams, who quickly developed their skills and competed at a high level.

The District Tournament, held March 23–26, showcased the teams’ hard work and Cardinal Pride:

Girls Team: The team earned an impressive third-place finish overall. A standout moment came from Izabela Estrada, who was named Second Team All-District.

Boys Team: The boys also secured a third-place finish, competing with determination and showing significant growth throughout the season. They finished just 20 strokes short of advancing to regional competition.

Southside ISD is proud of the dedication and accomplishments of these student-athletes and looks forward to their continued success.
