SHS Cross Country Standout Kalub Flores Commits to Concordia
Southside ISD proudly celebrates Kalub Flores as he signs with Concordia University Texas to continue his academic and athletic journey. Kalub’s success is the result of countless miles, early mornings, and a relentless commitment to improvement. Through dedicated club training and the guidance of Southside Head Cross Country Coach Northrup and Assistant Coach Ramirez, Kalub developed the discipline and drive that define him as both an athlete and a leader. His signing marks a major milestone, and we can’t wait to see him represent Southside with pride at the next level.
Cardinals Shine on the Field and in the Classroom
Congratulations to Alexander Garcia, Maverick Vela, Joel Jimenez, and Danielle Montoya for their excellent performance in the classroom and on the football field, earning them the honor of being selected to the Texas High School Coaches Association Academic All-State Football Team! Way to go, Cardinals!
