Congratulations to Matthey’s Jr. Cardinal Cookers BBQ Team for placing 4th Overall in the Middle School Division at the Texas High School BBQ State Competition this past Saturday at Burnet, TX. This team of two qualified for the National BBQ Competition in Branson, Missouri in June and consists of Matthey 6th grader, Mia Montelongo, and Losoya 7th grader Ryan Diaz.
