( San Antonio, TX)—The SISD Education Foundation held its second Bingo Night fundraiser, and once again, the crowd seemed to have tons of fun. The event was held at the Pica Pica Event Center on the south side, and more than 150 people from the school district and the community attended. More than twenty prizes were available to win, from Kate Spade handbags to a $1900 Louis Vuitton tote!
The night’s big winners were SISD staff, including Juan De La Garza, who walked away from more than $500, and Kaitlyn Aldrich, who won the Louis! We wanted to thank our sponsors, the SAVE Clinic, Pica Pica and Rudy Lopez, Lina Prado, Country Venue’s Leticia Santos, and our staff and teachers who attended from Heritage Elem., Gallardo Elem., Pearce Elem., Freedom Elem., Menchaca ECC, Losoya MS, Matthey MS, and SHS. Thank you to the SISD Board of Trustees and Executive Team for their support, and a special thanks goes to all the volunteers from the HR Team. The Foundation Board of Directors works tirelessly to raise money for the students at SHS.
