( San Antonio, TX) – Southside ISD encourages our students to “C.A.R.E..” This acronym is for a comprehensive set of expectations and practices supporting a safe, predictable, and consistent learning environment. The Cardinal CARE initiative creates a consistent standard of behavior expectations for all students and school staff. It also comes with incentives that generate fun and excitement among students. The Cardinals C.A.R.E. initiative was launched in 2021 to help promote good behavior, respect, and responsibility among our students. The program included the Cardinals CARE Anti-Bullying Campaign and the Cardinal VIP initiative. For the first time in the campaign, we are launching videos inspired by students for students and acted by students.
