( San Antonio, TX) – Get ready for a smoking hot competition this weekend. All three of our Southside High School BBQ Teams will compete tomorrow, January 27th, in the San Antonio Rodeo Junior Pitmaster BBQ contest. They will be cooking brisket, chicken, and ribs. The contest will be held at 142 Gembler Road. The student teams will start lighting fires at 4:30 am tomorrow, and the last turn-in is at 3:00 pm. There is no cost to come out and check out what the kids are doing, and FFA teacher Steve Iredale says, “I believe you might be able to get some samples of what the kids are making.” Good Luck, Cardinals!
