Southside ISD is excited and proud to have the new Alamo College District Southside Education Training Center. This is a major win for SISD, students, families, community members and businesses not to mention the workforce of San Antonio. SETC is the first facility south of Loop 410 and Highway 90 that will be training future nurses, offering adult education & literacy classes and featuring Workforce Training programs such as GED and English as a Second Language classes and certification programs for area families.
Southside ISD Board of Trustees, Superintendent Rolando Ramirez, Administrators, CTE teachers from Southside High School, Alamo Colleges District Board of Trustees including Anna Bustamante, Congressman Henry Cuellar and Texas House Representative John Lujan, and many more supporters of the Southside were at the SETC’s opening.
