Who doesn’t love breakfast tacos, pancakes, burritos, and pizza? Now, all students attending Southside ISD will continue receiving free breakfast, lunch, and supper and parents do not have to sign up for the program. Additionally, Southside High School students can receive free coffee daily at coffee bars set up in the main cafeteria and outside in the commons. Some of the popular meals include:

- sausage/pancakes/hash browns basket (Southside High School only)
Lunch:
- chicken & waffles
- green enchiladas
- wings basket (various flavors)
- orange chicken
- chicken dumplings
Supper:
- chicken nuggets
- burritos
- pizza
- burgers
Secondary students are also able to purchase smart snacks at their campuses such as cookies, pop corn, chips, and fruit slushies. Southside ISD participates in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) program in federally-designated Title I school districts.
