During the final two weeks of school, the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office School Safety Task force is setting up a mobile command in Southside ISD. The Sheriff’s task force is making a major show of force as a deterrent to crime. The mobile command post is parked at the Mr. W Fireworks stand across from the district’s main campus on U.S. Highway 281 South. Southside ISD parents and visitors will be seeing more deputies patrolling around the school district performing traffic enforcement and for emergency assistance when needed.
