The Southside High School Police Explorers scored big during the Central Texas Public Safety Cadet Competition in Buda on Saturday, April 1. Our Southside Police Explorers won 3rd place in the burglary investigation competition. Another Southside team placed 3rd in the vehicle accident investigation competition. The Southside High School team was one of only two school district explorers that competed among 18 police explorer teams. Most cadets came from metro police departments such as Houston, Fort Worth, and Irving. The explorers are under the instruction of Officer Jennifer Villarreal and Southside ISD Police Sergeant Isaac Martinez. Congratulations Cardinals!
