Casillas named new Southside High School JROTC Cadet Corps Commander

In a brief ceremony dating back to the 1800s, Southside High School junior Brianna Casillas became the new student corps commander of the Air Force Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (JROTC). The new commander will lead the JROTC cadets for the next year. She assumed command from Southside High School senior Nicholas Gonzalez. About three dozen high school students comprise the high school JROTC cadet corps.
