Carlos “Chuck” Decker is a full of life, enthusiastic learner here at Freedom Elementary. His smile is contagious. He is funny, wittie, and wise. Carlos was a first grader this past year in our Dual Language Program. He works hard and pushes himself to rise to any challenge. He was also a part of our Jr. Lighthouse group where he exhibited his skills of service and leadership. He was the “little brother” to his big sister Charlize for 7 years, but recently got promoted to “big brother” in March. He does not take his big brother responsibilities lightly. He helps mom often and loves to be with his baby brother. He loves science, recess, and being with his friends. He has fun drawing and playing legos. He also enjoys practicing and learning the art of Capoeira, an Afro-Brazilian martial art that combines elements of dance, acrobatics, and music. We are proud of you Chuck!
