One more act of kindness our scholars were challenged with was to create valentines for veterans! US Representative Vicente Gonzalez has launched the 15th Annual Valentines for Vets program in Texas to collect and distribute Valentine’s Day cards to local veterans. Our Pre-K Counselor, Dr. Morgan, will be delivering them to local veterans! If you and your family want to make one at home, just send it in with your child or drop it off at the office by February 7th and it will be delivered to a veteran this Valentine’s Day! Look at Ms. Combs and Ms. Moreno’s Pre-K classes sharing the valentines they made!

The Magic of Friendship
Morgan’s Wonderland presented “The Magic of Friendship!”, an interactive magic and puppet show featuring magician David Pitts and his puppet friend Hartman. Morgan’s Wonderland is the world’s most inclusive and accessible family fun park, and this show was all about inclusion and the power of making friends and being a friend. We loved the valuable lesson our scholars received!
