Matilda Takes the Stage
All the world is a stage, and Losoya Theater blew the world away with their rendition of Matilda on Wednesday, April 30! In collaboration with the band, choir, and art departments and the Sewing Club, the students blew everyone away with their amazing performances and hard work. Fantastic job Mr. Tejeda and fellow cardinals!
Surreal Circus Steals the Show
Wednesday, April 9th, Ms. Garcia and her art department hosted the Salvador Dali’s Surreal Circus Art Show, where students showed off their surrealist art for a chance to win a judging contest. The students did a fantastic job showing off their creativity and art skills in their various works of art. Great job Ms. Garcia and students!
National Library Week

7th Boys Soccer Advances
Congratulations to our 7th grade boys soccer team in winning 1st place in their Zone! The team is now advancing to the conference tournament at Harlandale Memorial Stadium. Please go support our boys this Thursday, April 3rd at 5:30 pm as they compete. Way to go Cardinals!
SISD Wellness Extravaganza
Save the date! Southside ISD is hosting its annual Wellness Extravaganza this Saturday, March 28 from 9 am to 12 pm.
Admission is free, and attendees can visit over over 50 health and wellness vendors, attend student performances, and experience food demonstrations from Child Nutrition. Please see the flyer for more details and information.
