One benefit of our early childhood center is that we have a partnership with Head Start. One aspect of their services includes nutrition education that we not only include in our Head Start classrooms, but campus-wide. We will be celebrating National Nutrition Month on Wednesday, April 7th. Scholars will dress up as their favorite fruit or vegetable then will show and tell about their costumes during class. We all strive to support child development with healthy nutrition and by teaching our scholars how to make informed food choices and develop sound eating and physical activity habits. Healthy kids are happy kids so we promote an increase in physical activity, a reduction of screen time, and improvement of food choices and healthy beverages.
