IMPORTANT UPDATES:
  • NEW MEAL PICKUP BUS ROUTES. The Transportation Department and the Child Nutrition Department are working hard to make sure more families have access to meals. Click here for updated routes that will be delivering meals M-F, approximately from 10 am - 2:30 pm approximately.
  • Students do not need to be present for meal pick-up
  • Meals for the Battle of Flowers holiday weekend will be available for pick-up Thursday, April 23rd. Our CN workers will take a well deserved three day holiday.

Food Pantry Distribution April 11th

Pre-Register now for Southside ISD Food Pantry
The San Antonio Food Bank and Southside ISD have become official partners. To receive food now, families and community members must take 30-seconds and pre-register for future food pantry distributions by clicking on the link below. The registration will be good for one year. Please help your neighbors by helping them click on the link. Food will be distributed on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month at 9:00 a.m. at the Southside ISD Kym Rapier Food Pantry located at Pearce Elementary. Pre-registration on the link is required. Southside High Athletes offered Division 1 scholarships

Two Southside High School athletes have been offered Division 1 scholarships for football. SHS juniors were recently notified that they qualified for Division 1 athletic scholarships for football. Micah Young got the news from UTSA. Caleb Camarillo received his offer from Ivy league schools, Air Force, Army-West Point, and Dartmouth. Head Coach Ricky Lock says this the first something like this has happened recently at SISD. We are all very proud.

Due to COVID-19, the Board of Directors for the SISD Education Foundation voted to extend the application deadline until April 30th to give graduating seniors more time to turn in their applications digitally or safely. Clinic taking phone visits during pandemic

University Health System which operates the Southside ISD Susan Hall Community Health clinic wants parents, teachers, and the community to know its medical team remains available for phone visits. UHS says its staff is available for phone visits, medication refills, etc., despite the COVID-19 pandemic. Patients may call the clinic at 210-644-1800 for any medical questions.
