Texas A&M-San Antonio’s Cisneros Institute of Emerging Leaders is launching a new initiative for current transfer students, Aspiring Teachers Leadership Certificate, this semester. Ms. Ortegon will participate in this program as a speaker for a session to share words of wisdom and encouragement, transitioning into the classroom, skills needed to excel in the profession, and so much more.
The in-person sessions (taking place on our campus) will occur on Friday, April 23rd.
Ms. Ortegon is excited to be speaking with our future teacher leaders. This event will give the opportunity for our participants to connect with teachers and school administrators to learn about their professional trajectories.
