Beginning Monday October 17, there will be new changes for pick up and drop off to accommodate the traffic flow and to provide more space for parents every day.
Freedom Elementary administration and the Southside ISD police department have made the following changes.
If you live West of Highway 37 you will follow the red arrow route.
If you live East of Highway 37 you will follow the blue arrow route.
- Make sure that your child is seated on the side of your vehicle nearest to the curb so that they can exit safely where staff will be waiting.
- Officer Cardenas will be directing traffic in the area where the buses exit behind the cafeteria area.
- Drop off times will be at 7:00 a.m. when staff is on duty. Do not leave your child unattended. If this occurs it will be brought to your attention and further action may be taken.
These changes will be in effect MONDAY, OCTOBER 17 2016. Please follow the directions of the traffic flow so that you may enter and exit in a safe and efficient manner. Safety is a top priority and it is imperative that you drive slowly in and out of the staging areas.
