Southside High School Red Jackets Dance Team
The Red Jackets dance team is working hard to make it to nationals this year with three routines that consist of a kick, a military, and a hip-hop presentation. Students in the dance team have developed live-performance skills and have overcome shyness. They are grateful to the Southside community for all the support they give and hope to inspire other students to join the team.

Congratulations to Chef Angel Machado and our Culinary Arts students! They placed 3rd in the St Philip’s 2023 Fall Mystery Bag Invitational. This is a very famous event. They competed with over 10 area San Antonio high schools! Go Cardinals!

When tough times fell on Gallardo Elementary School special education paraprofessional Ms. Pam Rodriguez, teacher Amy Fulk sent an email and nominated Rodriguez for Fox 29's Cash for Kindness program.
