Student Schedule Pick Up in Main Cafeteria:

A-F Alpha Pick Up- Monday August 4th (8:00-12:00 and 1:00-4:00)

G-L Alpha Pick Up- Tuesday August 5th (8:00-12:00 and 1:00-4:00)

M-R Alpha Pick Up- Wednesday  August 6th (8:00-12:00 and 1:00-4:00)

S-Z Alpha Pick Up- Thursday August 7th (8:00-12:00 and 1:00-4:00)

*Evening distribution will occur during Meet the Teacher on 08/07 5:30-7:30

SHS ATTENDANCE RECOVERY OPPORTUNITIES

If you have gone over the limit of 9 absences for any class within the
semester, you must make up the class time to avoid being denied credit!
CHECK OUT ALL 5 OPTIONS!!!
Volunteer at the Saturday Food Distributions (in-person only)
Food Distribution Dates: 7:30 AM-about 12:30 PM

Then show up at Pearce Elementary by 7:30 AM and please make sure to sign in.

Earn Accelerated Reader Points (virtually only)
MAXIMUM 50 Points for 25 Hours Per Semester
Login to Clever, Click District Applications, Choose MyOn and find a book of your choosing to read
Login Clever, Click District Applications, Choose Renaissance, find the book you read and take quiz
Points will stay logged on to your account and an administrator will run a report so you do not need to
notify anyone after you complete your quiz.
2 AR points = 1 attendance recovery hour (1 absence cleared for every 2 Accelerated Reader points
earned; Each book is worth a different number of AR points) Maximum 50 points=25 hours/semester
Edgenuity (virtually only)
This only applies to students that need to make up credits for classes that were previously failed.
Hours that you work, not including regular scheduled class time or idle time, are automatically logged
and will count towards completing attendance recovery, while also working towards regaining lost
credits. WIN! WIN! 1 hour in Edgenuity = 1 attendance recovery hour (1 absence cleared for every 1
hour you work in Edgenuity)

CTE LOSOYA Bridge Camp!!

This weekend, students from Losoya Middle School participated in the CTE Bridge Camp provided by Southside High School, where they got to tour the campus, meet the teachers, and explore the multiple programs of study through fun and engaging learning activities.
