High School STEAM Fair

February 20, 2021 by Demetria Sance

This year Southside High School will be hosting a STEAM fair for 9th-12th grade students to compete in.  A STEAM Fair has its roots in a traditional science fair, but allows the students to investigate beyond the traditional branches of science.  STEAM stands for “Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Technology” and is meant to embrace ideas that incorporate and integrate the many academic disciplines.

The event will be held virtually on Tuesday March 2nd at 5:00.  Due to COVID, students will be able to present remotely to the judging panel using Google meets.
