This week’s Southside HS Cardinal Spotlight is on Mrs. Lesa B. Rodriguez and Junior Markus Davis. Mrs. Rodriguez and Markus have worked together since Markus was in the 3rd grade. They can often be spotted walking to classes across camp
us. Mrs. Rodriguez supports Markus through his day. This is Mrs. Rodriguez’s 19th year at Southside. She looks forward to coming to school everyday because she “works with amazing, caring, and devoted teachers.” When she is not at school, she enjoys
reading, riding her bike, and watching Walt Disney movies. Her favorite food is fried chicken with french fries and vanilla ice cream for dessert.
Mrs. Rodriguez loves her job and her community, “as long as I have breath in me, I will be here for years to come.”
