Spanish Spelling Bee
On Friday, November 3, 2023, Pearce Elementary held its annual Spanish Spelling Bee. All participants and teachers worked so hard to get ready and we thank all students who participated. We would also like to take the time to congratulate the following students for advancing to the district Spanish spelling bee which will be held on Tuesday, November 28th.
5th Place: Elian Vasquez-Hernandez, 5th Grade – Ms. Rodriguez
4th Place: Wendy Escobar, 5th grade – Ms. Rodriguez
3rd Place: Victoria Gomez Orozco, 3rd Grade – Ms. Chavez
2nd Place: Luis Romero, 5th Grade – Ms. Chulo
1st Place: Jaime Saso-Garcia, 5th Grade – Ms. Chulo
Again, thank you to all participants and teachers for their hard work and congratulations to the top 5 students who will be representing Pearce at the district Spelling bee! We believe in you and know you will do well.

Labor Day Holiday
All Southside ISD campuses will be closed September 4, 2023 in recognition of the Labor Day holiday. Classes will resume Tuesday September 5th.
