Congratulations to our very own , Yamilet Colchado from Mrs. Chulo’s 5th grade class! She won 1st place for the Dee Howard City-Wide Art contest in the 3rd thru 5th grade division. Her artwork will soon be displayed at the San Antonio airport! Here is a picture of her winning artwork.
Select students from each of the elementarys across Southside ISD were able to stay at the Bamberger Ranch for 2 nights and 3 days. Students were exposed to a variety of STEAM-related activities. At Bamberger Ranch, their mission is to teach ethical land stewardship by example and outreach. This was a great learning opportunity for our students and inspired them to change consumption habits and learn how to better conserve natural resources.

Congratulations to Xochitl Blas for being the Pearce Etiquette Student of the week. Xochitl is very well mannered and polite. She always has a sweet Cardinal wave and a cheerful “Good Morning” to say, walking into the gym. We’re very proud to have Xochitl as our Pearce Cardinal Etiquette Student of the week.
