Cardinal Spotlight Week of January 25th: Menchaca Early Childhood Center
Lilly Guzman is an outstanding Kindergarten student that always begins class with a contagious smile! Lilly is always willing to participate by sharing out her writing, sight words that she has learned, or simply what she did over the weekend. She never gives up and is always willing to try her absolute best. Lilly almost always submits her work promptly with such neat handwriting. Lilly – a BIG congratulations on being such a superstar student and our Cardinal of the Week! Keep shining, the world needs your light sweet girl.
Ms. Garcia is our bilingual general aide who goes above and beyond the call of duty. She always has a smile and is willing to do or fill in whenever and wherever necessary. When staff students were here doing their online learning she would graciously always assist, watch over, and care for them. Ms. Garcia loves our little cardinals like they are all her own and we are so happy to have her on our campus.

Cardinal Spotlight Week of January 18th: Menchaca Early Childhood Center
Julianna is an excellent student! Everyday she comes to class ready to learn, and it’s obvious that she practices what we’re learning at home 
Julianna has a big heart, and if another student is having a bad day, she’s by their side trying to cheer them up!
Julianna has a big heart, and if another student is having a bad day, she’s by their side trying to cheer them up!Mrs. Timmons is a paraprofessional who consistently goes above and beyond. Her first priority is always students, their safety, and their success. She helps equip students with technology and keeps them engaged with a variety of learning experiences. She connects with families to help them get their child on a 1:1 basis with technology. Mrs. Timmons helps with both parent drop off and pick up and the kids are always so elated to see her. She’s playful, entertaining, and brings so much for the atmosphere of Menchaca. This year we even get to enjoy her little cardinal who joined us in pre-k. Thank you, Mrs. Timmons for always stepping in and stepping up to help all!
