Back-to-School Bash/Movie Night Wed. Aug. 3rd

Southside ISD is hosting its annual Back-to-School Bash on Wednesday, August 3, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Southside High School Cafeteria and Gym at  19190 US-281 . The event brings the community together for an evening of family fun to kick off the 2022-2023 school year. In addition to a wide variety of activities and games, there will be school supplies, student health services, and more – provided free of charge to the Southside ISD students. Following the Back to School Bash be sure to stay for Summer Movie Nights Featuring Disney’s Encanto beginning at 8:00 p.m. Stay until the end of the movie for a chance to win a $500 gift card from HEB along with other fun prizes.  Popcorn is donated from CityBase Cinema Entertainment, and the event is hosted by SISD and the SISD Education Foundation and sponsored by Amerigroup and HEB.  

This event features:

  • FREE Covid Vaccines (Moderna & Pfizer)
  • NO COST Immunizations
  • FREE hotdogs
  • FREE school supplies (while supplies last)
  • FREE t-shirts (while supplies last)
  • Kona Ice (while supplies last)

  • Booths and family resources available for all ages.

Students we do not have up-to-date records for won’t be able to start school and class placement is dependent on these. You can email the record to Nurse Siebert at Heather.Siebert@nullSouthsideISD.org but please include a student name and date of birth on them.
