Menchaca was honored to have two teachers, Mr. Zavala and Ms. Taylor, participate in a professional development experience at Rice University. Their work focused on implementing project-based learning which we hope to explore more for the early childhood science curriculum. The teachers enjoyed themselves and developed their skills in communication and PBL-writing and implementation that they can turn around to teachers at their campuses.
