Losoya Middle School Celebrates May the Fourth

Losoya Middle School is bringing the “Force” to life this May 4th!
Through a collaboration between the Theatre Program and Sewing Club, students designed and created custom Jedi robes for more than 40 teachers—showcasing their creativity, craftsmanship, and teamwork.
With teachers dressed as Jedi and students joining in the fun, the celebration highlights school spirit while fostering an engaging and positive campus culture.

Celebrate the close of an amazing school year with us at our End of Year Parade & Celebration! This exciting, festival-style event will showcase student organizations, highlight achievements across campus, and feature live student performances to wrap up the year in style.

Bring your friends and family to enjoy an evening filled with school spirit, great food, and entertainment for everyone. From student booths to performances and delicious eats, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Join us on Tuesday, May 19 at 5:30 PM at SHS Stadium as we come together to recognize a successful year and celebrate our school community!

Losoya Middle School Honor Band Earns UIL Sweepstakes

On Wednesday, March 4, the Losoya Middle School Honor Band performed at the annual UIL Concert and Sight Reading Evaluation held at the Somerset Performing Arts Center. The students showcased exceptional musicianship, preparation, and maturity throughout their performance.

Their dedication paid off as the band earned straight 1s from the judges, achieving the highest possible rating and a Sweepstakes award for the entire evaluation.

We are incredibly proud of these outstanding students for representing Losoya Middle School and the Southside community with excellence. Please join us in congratulating them on their hard work and this well-deserved accomplishment!

This past Saturday, November 8th, several Losoya Middle School band students auditioned for the TMEA Region 11 Middle School Honor Band. Each student dedicated countless hours of practice and preparation over the past few months, giving their very best at the audition.
