Congratulations to the Losoya 7th and 8th grade athletes for their success in yesterday’s Big 19 Conference Meet! We are so proud of all their accomplishments this season.
8th grade girls earned 3rd place overall with the following:
- Gracie Galvan earned Overall Top Athlete (Two years in a Row!), getting 2nd place and a PR in the 100m, 1st place and a PR in 400m, and got PRs in the Triple Jump, High Jump, and 4×100 Relay.
- The 4×100 Relay team earned a new PR! The team included Dalilah Villasenor, Madilyn Johnson, Emma Bazan, and Graciela Galvan
- Juleanna Pritchard earned 3rd place in Discus
7th grade girls also performed well with the following:
- Arhianna Sanchez earned 2nd place in the Pole Vault
- Amarya Baines-Castro earned 3rd place in Shot Put
- Jozlyn Moreno earned 4th place in Shot Put
- Violet Caballero earned 6th place in High Jump
