National School Counseling Week

National School Counseling Week 2021, “School Counselors: All In for All Students,” will be celebrated from Feb. 1-5, 2021, to focus public attention on the unique contribution of school counselors within U.S. school systems. National School Counseling Week, sponsored by ASCA, highlights the tremendous impact school counselors can have in helping students achieve school success and plan for a career.

Our school counselor, Mrs. Alicea Campos, is an invaluable member of our staff.  She works with individual students, classes, parents, and staff members.  This past year has brought on many changes and challenges, but with help from therapists or counselors like Mrs. Campos, we will not only get through it, we will learn from it.  Thank you for all you do!

Kids Heart Challenge

Kids Heart Challenge is coming soon to Heritage Elementary!  As a special BONUS at our school you can also earn AGENT KHC, by raising $150 online by 7 AM on 2/22/2021! Students who earn Agent KHC will be recognized! We are excited to get started saving lives and hope you will join us.  Be on the lookout for more information or get a jump start by joining our team online at www.heart.org/khc.

Gifted and Talented

The window to refer students for the Gifted and Talented Program is now open. If you’d like your student tested, please let their teacher know or contact the school counselor, Mrs. Campos.  The deadline is Friday, Jan. 29.
